MEMBERSHIP:

Individuals and organizations in the Asia & Pacific region that participated in at least one of the regional meetings on emergency contraception since 2002 are the initial members. The list includes participants to the “Southeast Asian Workshop on Strategies to Promote Access to Emergency Contraception” in 2002 and the “2nd Emergency Contraception Meeting” in 2003. Membership is also open to other individuals and organizations in the region that apply or are recommended by the current members, provided the prospective member will agree to the objectives of the organization and the obligations of members.

MEMBER OBLIGATIONS:

· To share knowledge and information about reproductive health, rights and emergency contraception (EC);

· To expand the network of allies and supporters;

· To foster collegial attitudes that promote interdisciplinary, multi-disciplinary and trans-disciplinary approaches and to ensure meaningful exchanges with other professions to promote access to EC;

· To help raise and leverage funds for reproductive health and women’s access to EC;

· To collectively participate in a regional network that will support our local and national efforts to promote and improve access to EC and realize sexual and reproductive rights.
